Poster Design - Instructor Scott Laserow
Deathtrap, a 1978 play written by Ira Levin, follows a complex plot involving a writer, his wife, and his former student. In a remarkably twisting plot, this play takes the audience through tales of murder and plagiarism. In sketches, I highlight these two main aspects of the play, combining images of death (skulls, weapons) with writing related imagery (pens, papers, typewriters). My final poster places the image of a typewriter into the cylinder of a revolver, subtly setting the tone for the content of the play.
